Dating widower young child

My W is very open about his late wife and their life together. He is also very affirming in his love for me and I have never doubted how he feels about me.As things are becoming more serious, we have begun to talk about marriage.I am a 32 year old woman who has never been married. This came out of the blue from my seven-year-old daughter Isabella – but then, little about our recent family life had been expected.

In dating and getting to know my W, I have come to love and cherish him and his children. And as a result, I have arrived at a place where I’m comfortable acknowledging that I again need male companionship, that I’m ready for some conversation that doesn’t involve the characters on “Sesame Street.” Having been raised by a single mother, I’m familiar with some of the cardinal dating rules. Don’t introduce him to the children until it is serious. Will I find a man who loves me — stretch marks and all — and who loves my children? I have no plans to put our wedding album or video into storage.
